Our membership plan is for those who have completed the Foundational Assessment and who would like to continue to benefit from our services and education at We Care Frisco.

During the Foundational Assessment, Dr. Engels will discuss whether we are a good fit for each other and if you would benefit from our membership. Completion of the Foundational Assessment DOES NOT guarantee a spot in our membership plan.

Pellets

Pellets are tiny subcutaneous implants that release hormones slowly over time, offering a convenient, long-term solution. Pellets offer consistent hormone levels but require a minor minimally invasive procedure for insertion.

Estrogen Cream

Compounded bioidentical estrogen cream refers to a medication that is custom-made by a compounding pharmacy to contain bioidentical forms of estrogen. Bioidentical hormones are molecularly identical to the hormones naturally produced by the human body, specifically in this case, estrogen.
Estrogen is a hormone that plays a crucial role in various physiological functions, especially in the development and maintenance of female secondary sexual characteristics and the regulation of the menstrual cycle. Bioidentical hormones are derived from plant sources, such as soy or yams, and are designed to closely mimic the chemical structure of hormones produced in the human body.
Compounded medications are created based on a specific prescription for an individual patient, allowing healthcare providers to tailor the dosage and formulation to meet the patient's unique needs. In the case of compounded bioidentical estrogen cream, a compounding pharmacist would mix the appropriate amount of bioidentical estrogen into a cream or gel form for the patient to apply topically.

Estrogen Patch

Estrogen patches are a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) designed to deliver estrogen through the skin into the bloodstream. Estrogen patches can also be made from bioidentical estrogen. These patches are commonly used to alleviate symptoms of estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women or in individuals who have undergone surgical removal of the ovaries. Estrogen patches provide a controlled and continuous release of estrogen through the skin. The patches are usually worn on a clean and dry area of the skin, and they are designed to be replaced at regular intervals, such as twice a week.
